Homemade Donuts

Hello all !!!! Today I tried a vegetarian donut recipe for kids. It’s very easy recipe and can be given for kids. My husband loved this Choco donuts a lot. So I want to share this recipe with you guys as well. Try this recipe and share your comments below.



Things Needed :
Maida flour : 3 cups plus some more for dusting purpose
Yeast : 2 tablespoon
Sugar : 2 tablespoon
Milk : 1/2 cup
Cocoa powder : 3 to 4 tablespoon
Icing Sugar : 1/2 cup
Vanilla essence : 1 teaspoon
Oil
Salt

Preparation :
1. In a pan pour 2 tablespoon of milk and yeast. Stir them until no lumps are formed. Rest it for 10 to 15 minutes.

2. Mix the flour with the yeast mix and start kneading by adding like warm water little at a time . Knead the dough so that it becomes soft. Pour 2 tablespoon of oil and apply it on the dough. Rest the dough for 1 to 2 hours leaving it to raise .

3. After 1 hour the dough rises into double the amount . Then add some flour and start kneading for 5 to 10 minutes until it become a soft dough.

4. Roll the dough in a rolling pan and start making donuts using a container lid . For the centre hole I used a cap . Make donuts using the lid and keep it aside in a plate .


  

5. Rest the donuts for 15 minutes leaving them to raise.


6. Fry the donuts to a golden brown colour both the sides and keep it aside.

 

7. For the chocolate syrup , filer the icing sugar and cocoa powder without any impurities in a vessel. Add in few drops of vanilla essence and mix well by adding milk gradually. The syrup should not be too thick. Dip the donuts in the chocolate syrup and I have decorated by adding choco chips as topping.
