Idly Sambar

Idly Sambar is a side dish to be had with idly or dosas. I prefer eating this sambar with dosas. It is an easy and quick recipe. Try this recipe and share your comments below.

Servings : 4

Things Needed 
Moong dal : 1 cup (medium size)
Small onions : 5 to 6 pearls
Tomato : 1
Carrot : 1
Sambar powder : 3 Tablespoon
Turmeric Powder
Oil

Preparation
1. In a pressure cooker add the washed dal, onions, tomato and carrot with turmeric powder. Pressure cook them for 3 to 4 whistles.
2. Once pressure subsides mash the dal and keep it aside. Take a pan and some oil then items to temper, now add sambar powder and fry it. Add this oil mixture to the dal and heat it by adding few cups of water. Finally garnish it with coriander leaves.
